String Recommendations Welcome!
 

The time has come for me to replace the string and cable on my Matthews Switchback. I would appreciate any recommendations. Does anyone have feedback regarding Vapor Trail or Winners Choice?

Though my current setup is relatively smooth and quite, I was thinking about adding a stabilizer to see if I could soak up even more sound and vibration. I exclussive use itfor hunting and I am happy with the balance & feel. Any suggestions would be greatly appreicated.

Send "gibblet" a PM. He is a custom string maker that has the respect of a lot of guys on here and seems to know his stuff.

My last string purchase was Winners Choice, so far I'm very pleased with them.

However, the next time I replace my strings I will be going through Gibblet here on HuntingNet.

My new string from Gibblet should be here any day. My brother in law got one a couple months ago and it is very well made. Custom colors too.

R & A or gibblett i will get some gibbletts next year too far behind for me right now though so i got some r ansd a's and they are wuality for the money 50 whole set of cables and strings check Archery talk for both numbers

Gibblet strings. My son inlaw bought winners choice a couple of weeks ago for his Switchbackand then mine came in from Gibblet this week. We both agreed Gibblets looked and felt better. Gibblet's were also about 1/2 the price!!!
I already emailed Gibblet not to get any ideas about raising his prices!! hahaha!!

I justgot a set of Vapor Trials two days ago.I can say that the shop that I brought it to was pretty wowed by it. They were interested in it and said it looked good. They marked my cam and are interested to see how much they stretch.Though they said that a lot of stings stretch a little bit for a short time after they are installed.

I will respond back with how many inches over the next couple of weeks.

inches, no way unless something is wrong with it. maybe a few twists at the most. VT make nice strings.

Hey Gibblet,

I'll be checking out one of your strings the next time I need strings. Time was the factor.

Yeah I guess I shouldn't have said inches. I have a caliper that I'll measure it with.
