No acorns, the corn is gone.Do deer like beech

nuts?Or do they prefer green grass over them? The deer were in the cut field of corn for about 10 days. They are not there now and I'm having a hard time finding their food source. There are plenty of Beech nuts and green grass left.

They like beechnuts but the nuts usually aren't filled. They'll only eat young grass unless there's nothing else.

You are right about them having alot of food to chose from.I think the deer are bedding in the golden rod next to the field.I did not see any clover, just lot's of beech nuts and green grass. There's not a way for me to get close to their bedding grounds without being busted.
