I grew up near there, always hoped that some would escape.
Check out goliath...one of the most famous stolen live deer....and one he11 of a buck! They made a fortune in stud fees on him.

Well, for those that are skeptical that the sheds are from a 2 1/2 year old buck (I am skeptical myself)... it says on the website above that Goliath weighed 260 pounds and had 28 points when he was Stolen at the age of 2... So I guess it is very possible that they came from a buck that age, and I am sure there are all kinds of nutritions given to these deer to allow them to produce antlers like that...

No Matter where they came from or how they grew... They were Unreal to hold, and I cannot imagine seeing a deer like that come down one of my trails...

Yeah I saw that as well... I guess maybe the stress of being stolen got to him, he died that fall as well... Hard to imagine what he could have been in his prime without all the stress...

Thats a nice set of sheds to say the least. Theres a big one at the local shop found on public land. 8 points on one side and its huge!. Ill try to get a pic if i can remember to take the camera with me.
