I agree, but if you take notice of those pics you will see one common thing. Most of the mature deer standingover the corn come to it at night.
Even worse!!! Those are deer that few.......if anyone would ever even know exist in that area without those things. That is becoming an ever increasing topic of off season chatter around gun clubs and hunting camps (at least around here)......."Man, I got some pics of a great buck over by blah blah blah. So when bow season comes it gets hunted like a gauntlet and if he survives the drives during gun season will be relentless. Maybe the guy who took the pics gets him.........maybe he doesn't. The point is that word gets out and the wild eyed possy now has spots x'd all over their maps as to where these bucks might be.

The night was the only refuge that a deer had left............now even that is gone.
Still sound like "fair chase" is the right term??

[quote}Second point if we have such a great advantage why is the success rate 30%(on average) for bowhunters? Looks like the deer win most of the time.
Useless stat.........unless you have more data.
[/quote]

Now when I read the above post I read "Atlas does not like game camera's and he thinks they should not be used."

The night was the only refuge that a deer had left............now even that is gone.
This is my favorite line[&o] I think you might cry, lol
Who really cares, it is legal and there property.

I am glad you hunt deer, I hope you shoot a big one
Bigg'uns are too tough, right Atlas?
Atlas was the one who enlightened me to the dining pleasure that venison
can bring. Until I conversed with him, I wouldn't even eat the stuff.
I still think it's easier to throw a beef steak on the grill and be done with it, but venison can be tasty if you put in the effort. I like it.

Bigg'uns..........or a bunch of little'uns...........it all looks the same in a zip-loc.

Wrong again............maybe you should just stick with reading the words that are on the screen........instead of trying to find the ones between the lines.

Here is a hint............there's none there. If you want to know what I mean just read what I say. Very simple.

I never said it wasn't legal or their property..........I just think calling it "fair chase" is laughable.

OK Atlas I guess all this talk is just babble, have a good year.

I hope no one takes a picture of your deer and runs it out of town trying to kill it. Which is why it is so hard for you to shoot a big one. All the Camerapossykillers are running off your deer. LOL

I hope know one takes a picture of your deer and runs it out of town trying to kill it.
I hope NO one challenges you to a grammar duel.

So what do you think the success rate our in NY?
Who cares??........why you make some correlation between the two is unclear.

Do you even have a clue how or where they get those stats from? How about some p values, confidence intervals, std dev, mean, median, mode..................SOMETHING of actual value please.

It amazes me how many people just gulp down the stuff the DEC's shovel out there and take it as the gospel truth.

man you are good, lol

I just wondered I could not find it on DEC site. Dec site is pretty poor compared to other states.

I am terribleat grammar, oh well. That is why I am a software developer[8D]

You take your shots, I could careless.

Did you hear that a camera just went off somewhere in the woods. I think your deer is headed to Canada.

All I know if my 2005 resume was a spike(you thought was a doe) and two fawns I would keep quite until I redeem myself next year. Trust me we all have those years.

Good luck with your fair chase thing!!

Would you really keep quite...........quite what?......and if you are gonna tell a story......tell it right. Don't make it sound like I shot something by accident. It was getting an arrow either way.

Last year was GREAT!! 3 with a bow.......everyone in my family filled tags......big bro and dad broke slumps. We still have meat in the freezer. I'll take a year like that anytime man.

Good luck with your fair chase thing!!
This comment...........and your grasp of the english language.........makes me think you STILL don't understand what I am talking about.

How is it that a software developer who's job it is to write code can't master the quote feature of a chat room?
