RE: Problems with Blazers staying on
Not a big fan of the Fletch Tite....Use any cyanoacrylate...like Pine Ridge, or and "super glue" type....goat tuff....something along that line. DO NOT clean the bottom of the vane first.

RE: Problems with Blazers staying on
I've only fletched my own and I have no problem this year.
What's coming off, the glue on the Blazers or the glue off the shafts? |
RE: Problems with Blazers staying on
I use the Bohning Instant Gel and have never had one come off unless I shot if off.;)

RE: Problems with Blazers staying on
Glue from both shaft and vane.

With the blazers i always use a super glue type glue and haven't had any problems. With the fletching glues like bond-tite and platinum I've had the same problems as you.

On my axis's and epics ive had to put wraps on then the blazers on top of them. Something about the texture on the shaft wont keep the blazers on the shaft

RE: Problems with Blazers staying on
Well your not alone, me and a couple of friends have the same problem.
I took and lightly sandpapered by arrows, cleaned them and they still came off after a few shots. I have returned to the old 4" regular vane. Good hunting. |
RE: Problems with Blazers staying on
Does the wraps cause any problems in the flight of the arrow?

RE: Problems with Blazers staying on
The Blazer wraps are half the size ofa standard wrap so I wouldnt think it would be enough weightto effect your arrow. I also put a dot of glue at the front and rear of each vane that seems to help alot shooting them through my wisker biscuit.
