Trail Alteration

I need some help. I have a stand located on some pretty central trails, but they tend to run a trail just inside some thicker stuff that is impossible to get in or shoot through. What is the best bait you guys can recommend to draw them across my path more?

Why can't you hunt them on either side of the thicket?

Block that trail with dead fall and let it angel towards the trail you want them to wind up on. It's like creating your own funnel. I do it all the time and promise you it works. Don't tell anyone though it's a secret.

And when you drop deadfall and funnel, don't forget to see if you can thin some spots out to help with drawing them to where you want them to go.
Just don't open up too much so they keep that "safe" feel.
