I was thumbing through some old photos, and came across me with my first bow. I made it with the help of the neighbor kid. Mom made me put balls of tape over the tips of the arrows so I wouldn't get hurt. It sure brings back memories!!!! Anyone have any of their start in archery????

That is cool that you have a pic of you with your first bow. I don't have any memories picture wise. But I do remember the first two shots I ever took with my bow.
I robin hooded the first two that I had ever shot and have only done it once since then. Both times were all luck. The second time it happend, I had just bought a lighter arrow setup and I wanted to see how far off my pins were, shot twiced and boom..i was out two arrows.

My mom was proud of me when i was 6-7 years old. i took the rubber suction tip off my arrow and taped a steak knife that i had convascated from the kitchen:eek: to the end of my arrow.Im 41 now and still can see that scar on my finger.[>:] Great pic, thanks for sharing
