yes it is the same buck on North American Whitetail and it is the same Pic from the web-site. I would think if he shot the deer he would of posted a picture of it from his house on his wall and not the came picture with a blacked out background. Not saying he didn't shot it but I found it very unlikely.

Fellas we have a liar on our forum here. This is the Goad buck killed by Llloyd Goad in 1962 in S. IA. It is the 5th biggest archery kill in IA. Lloyd died Dec. 20th 1993. Great way to break into a forum dude.http://www.northamericanwhitetail.com/trophybucks/tr_1004vintage/

He did shoot it, but when he went on the road to play for the Steelers, Shania Twain left him, and sold it to the Goads along with his other stuff, including the horns from the elk Chuck Adams shot...

You know its one thing to come on to a site such as HNI and post a pic of a big buck that was shot by someone else but to say that you actually shot the buck is morally wrong. Most of us on here are familar with most of the world record bucks. We keep up on that sort of thing. I would be very carefull what you say and what you post on this site becuase it will come back and bite you on the @55.
