Broadheads
 

I was wondering what is the best broadhead. I use to shoot a fixed head, and i can't remember thebrand buti was wanting to get a better one.

I suggest Magnus stingers or Rocky Mtn Snypers if you want Mechanical.

I've used alot of different heads. Expandables I threw out the window last year. I had to many things go wrong with to many differnt kinds.

I wentback to a fixed blades this year. Stinger SS. It's the sharpest I've seen out of the box. Most test tell you heads like this get the best in penetration and are very durable. One more great atribute to this head is that it groups right with my field tips all the way to 50 yards.

Each had their benefit and Ive killed w/ both. It mostly comes down to shot placement, but some Fixed blades work better when you have poor shot placement (cut through bone better). Also you dont have to worry bout them not opening. I noticed some mechs start to rust after a few weeks of carrying in the weather, so i switched back to fixed this year...didnt want to take any chances. Also im going to be hunting bear so i wanted the extra strength and penetration.

I shoot Thunderheads but know that the Muzzy's are real good.

Used to shoot Muzzy 4 blade and had trouble tuning them. I just bout 6 Magnus Stngers, and they were all but dead on with my field points. Like them so far.

If you want to know the BEST broadhead, there isn't one. Everybody out there makes high quality heads anymore. Stingers are just as good as Slick Tricks are just as good as Sonic are just as good as Rocket....

BUT, if you force me to choose, I would have to say Stinger.
