My girlfriend is wanting to get into hunting. Well i have a parker ultra lite 31, (which is a whole nother story), but she is wanting a parker micro phoenix. What does anyone know about this bow, or any suggestions.

yeah i know what you mean man. I had my ultra lite for 3 years and i loved it, than just out of the blue last week, it exploded, causeing a couple of stitches and scared the crap out of me. So now i get a new one supposenly, but kinda optimistic about it all now.

I don't know anything about that particular Parker model... I have been shooting a parker ultra lite 31 for the past 4 years. No problems at all. The only problem is that no real pro shops carry them any longer. You can just get them at Bass Pro and places like that. At least in my area.

Althogh that my opinion... I will be looking into new bows after this seasona dn will look primarily at Hoyt and Bowtech. They seem to be the HOT ones now.

The micro phoenex is a good bow... Parker makes alot of good bows. For a women shooter martin also has a great selection of bows that she might like. I would stay away from Hoyt, but thats my opinion.
