I pull 50# on my recurve , anything over that is just overkill ,and shoulder damage waiting to happen . You can't kill them any deader than dead , why hurt youself trying ?

I have my bow set at 73lbs. most of the time but in the cold winter months ( late Nov. thru Jan. ) I'll bring it down to 65lbs. its much easyer to pull back when the limbs hard and stiff from the freezing temps.

my parker is at 56 i have some bad tendons my mathews it at 70 once i get the new cam on it ill decide how much im going to shoot with it gets damn cold in that stand i find its harder to pull after sitting a couple hours
