RE: Next generation of Xbow?

I wasn't sure exactly where to post this...
Uh... perhaps the crossbow forum? [8D]:D

Thanks for sharing anyway Frank; it is cool to see what's coming down the pike in other ventures...

I've read several places this is made by Bowtech.
Yeah, I followed a thread on another forum where everyone was trying to figure it out; someone went so far as to look into who had the domain name registered for BowTech and StrykerXbow, respectively. Cracked me up... You mean the "Binary Cam Technology" description didn't give it away?!? ;)

Looks wierd. I dont think it should be called a bow though. They need to ad the 'cross' to the front of the word bow. When you think about it though you would think that that would wear out the spine on the arrows really fast because of the severe stress put on it. Just my thought.

Look carefully between the words "Stryker" and "bow"... You'll see an "X" there, which is shorthand for "cross" in the world of crossbows... :)

I'm waiting to see what the "my Excal.... is faster and better than your compound Xbow" people will have to say about this.

RE: Next generation of Xbow?

That bow is total BS if you ask me. I'd never buy one. My two hortons are great bows and they dont need to be doin 405 fps or w/e. That's on the verge of dangerous. And Xbows as rifles? Hahaha. I wish. i wouldnt take a shot more than thirty yards with mine. Xbows arent guns, they're bows just like your hoyt's or bowtechs, just different lookin. Great for young bowhunters, old Bowhunters and the physically chalenged. For those who shun the xbowers you havent tryed one. andtheir little slogan isn't helping the xbow community either. You have to dedicate time, and practice into getting your xbow setup and sighted in. not all use scopes, they do use pins also. sorry but that bow is just a slap in the face to xbowers. it'll go bankrupt in a year trying to compete with tenpoint, Horton, Excalibur or even barnet.

(P.S. there is an xbow forum)
