RE: What Makes a Good Hunting Video?

ORIGINAL: Greg / MO

I know this may be a bit ... um, tough for someone to take, but I really could care less about seeing a gun hunt, period.

I'm the same way. The only videos I purchase are the ones that are strictly bow hunting or are filled with a majority of bowhunting scenes.

I quit hunting with a gun because I didn't find it challenging enough. I didn't care to take 300 yard shots at animals, so why would I want to watch someone being paid to do it?

I picked Professionalism;ethics/stategies/verbal del./explanations/calling, etc. I like to see what the hunters are doing and why.

RE: What Factor(s) Makes a Good Hunting Video?

I try to find bowhunting vids, if they are from the region I hunt in it's a plus and I like to see the hunters have a good time. But #1 for me, I hate all of the staged and setup scenes in most of them. That is why I like Primos videos #1 above all the rest. They show it like itreally happens, and they have fun at it. The scenes back at the cabin are informative as well as entertaining.
