How much antler growth?
 

This is one of the 8's in my honey hole (24 acre tract). This is a photo taken nearly 3 weeks ago. I'm wondering how much antler growth has occurred between then and now.......before I retrieve the new game cam photos.

I've heard that (at the height of growing season) they can grow up to 1/2" a day. How much towards the end of July? He's no bruiser, by what most of you all see, but he's a pretty decent racked deer for these parts.....and I hope even bigger, now.

Will I be able to discern a difference on the recent photos?

Just looking for opinions (on antler growth.....not asking if I should try to take him or not).

I'm far from a biologist, but I would say that he probably put on a couple inches since then. You should be able to see that it is the same deer though.

Yeah....he's been coming in every day.....and he's got a white mark on his rt rear qtr. He won't be hard to pick out! I just haven't picked up trail cam pics for a while.
