RE: Neat PIC....
That is priceless. Amaizing how "wild animals" get along better than humans. We as society should pay better attention and take notes. I love being in the woods simply because it's so peaceful even when it's so alive. I am saddened by society today. JMHO Very nice pic.:D

RE: Neat PIC....

Masterdiver:
I've got a movie clip of a buck.....DOWN.....from a fight with another one....and the other buck goring him...... Or....a DB DVD that shows one gobbler spurring another whilst the first one is expiring from being arrowed. There's NOT MUCH "peaceful" about nature. It's typically....and REALISTICALLY......HARSH. That being said.....That's one of the most beautiful photos I have EVER seen. It's touching. Jeff |

RE: Neat PIC....
Whoa...thats cool....A three legged horse!:D:D:D:D:D
Betcha guys missed that one didn't ya? Yes, it could be behind the other leg, but I'm not too sure of that, I would think I would be able to see a little somewhere. I hate when I'm pesimistic, but something just isn't right about that pic. The fawn is way too small compared to the horses. I own horses, and the average height of a horses 'knee' is probably around 16" or so. The backline of that fawn is below that. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I always thought even newborn fawns were a little bigger than that. Not trying to start a war or anything, but that pic doesn't look right to me. Just my $.02 |
RE: Neat PIC....
Newborn fawns are between6 and8 pounds when they are born, so it is very very possible that it is real.

RE: Neat PIC....
That is a cool pic...thanks for sharing!

RE: Neat PIC....
My inlaws took care of a fawn for several months last year, and it did the same thing with their horses. They had a couple of large horse pens, and the deer would get in there and run around with them. That deer was so confused, it reminded of the children's book "Are you my mother" because this deer would walk from the horses, to the barn cats, to the dogs. Not only that, you could walk out on the back deck, call out it's name, (yes, they named it Bob) andhe would come running out of the woods. No kidding. Funny stuff.
