Help with Tyrkon String Noise

My Dad has a small shop behind his house and sets up bows for us and his friends and he asked me to post this because he is not much on computers. He has a buddy that has a new Trykon. He has it set up but it makes a loud obnoxious "twang" when it is shot. I shot it and listenend to him shoot it and it definetly sounds like string noise. Dad is a veteran archer and has won tons of 3D shoots around our area but is really puzzled by this problem. It is 29" / 70# and has the string suppressors in the string.

Take off the factory String Shox and install cat whiskers. Most likely problem solved.

Add a couple twists to the string and cables, it will solve your "twang"....

I was thinking twist in the string, but it could also be something as simple as an accessory, like a Kwickee Kwiver bracket or something.

Nope David, your right on the money for some reason the Trykon's have a little "twang" to them, I noticed it right away on a factory one I shot but a friend of mine also had one in the shop and I shot it...whisper quiet...added 5 twists to the string and the cables..

We've noticed the buzz at our shop too. We've not twisted the strings, but I may try that next time. We've honestly just taken off the Shox and used some other string silencer and it's worked very well.

I shoot A trycon and I took the new string shocks off and put cat whiskers on and that took care of the troublesome noises.
