Venison lover's trophy room

Here are some of my finest "trophy" pictures :)

I can honestly say that processing my own kills has improved my hunting experience way more then I ever imagined it could. It feels good when I watch my family and friends devour a delicious meal that I took from field to freezer to dinner table using nothing more then a bow, arrow, and a sharp knife.

Thats alot of meat, I have to agree You get more meat when you process your own deer.
All that meat is making me hungery, looks like you did a very good job.

I have a table in the basement that looks like that a couple times a year too. One suggestion,I baught a vaccum sealer a couple of years ago, and it really keeps the freezer burn to a minimum. Meat last longer in the freezer.

I have heard that many times and would do it in the blink of an eye..............IF I ever had even one piece of meat get freezer burn. We use the double lined zipper freezer bags and have absolutely no problems at all. Sometimes we go through the meat like vultures and sometimes it lasts all year. I found a bag of butterflied chops once that was almost 2 years old and they were fine.

I think the vaccum sealers are nice products but I just haven't found a need for one. My good quality grinder though is something I have no idea how I ever lived without ;)
