Incredible Picture
I know this has nothing to do with bowhunting, but there seems to be a few other topics that have been left lately. I'm sure it will interest a few:
Also, this is not my photo: ![]() |

That is one awesome picture, is that an eagel or a hawk it sure has a big wing span.
Was it trying to pick that coyote up or just attack it. |
RE: Incredible Picture
It looks like a fox to me, I believethe eaglewas trying to carry it off.

RE: Incredible Picture
That's way cool. Golden Eagle I believe lookin to eat fox. I had a red tail land on my turkey after I shot it with my bow last year. Wish I had a pic of that.

Great picture! I reminds me of a morning hunt...
I was sitting in my stand one morning in the dark trying to catch a couple more z's before lightwhen I felt what seemed like a large brid swoop right over my head (I mean inches!). It was so dark I really couldn't see, but then I saw a shadow coming at me again and I ducked and almost fell out of the tree trying to avoid this thing. The only thing I could figure was it was a great horned owl after the tassle on the top of my winter cap (yeah, I hear the snickers but that hat is warm). So I stood up and waved my arms all around and he never bothered me again.it kind of scared me but it wasneat also. |

Outstanding!
Ron LeClair you say? Did he ever sell his shop and get moved up north or does he still live in Potterville? |
RE: Incredible Picture
Just goes to show you never know what will show up on the pictures when you get them back. I always have trouble waiting to pick mine up. I bet that fox was surprised.

RE: Incredible Picture

RE: Incredible Picture
AWESOME!! I had a red tailed hawk come after me once. No idea why...I wasn't even out in the woods. Just standing in my front yard, and he flew straight at my head from across the street. Eye level the entire way! Must've been a baby hawk somewhere close by!
Anyway, great picture! Thanks for sharing! |

That is an incredible pic.
What do you guys think that fox weighs, 25-30 pounds? |
RE: Incredible Picture
What a great picture. Its amazing how strong and powerful those birds are.
|
RE: Incredible Picture
Very cool. I had a hawk come down and nab a squirrel last year in the morning. It was cool how the woods fell silent for about an hour afterwards.

RE: Incredible Picture
Thanks for posting a very interesting pic - I didn't know eagles would take on a fox...
ORIGINAL: huntingson ...The only thing I could figure was it was a great horned owl after the tassle on the top of my winter cap -fsh |
RE: Incredible Picture
Regardless if the photo is real or not, it is cool. However, I think it has been Photoshop'ed. Look at the fox's front legs. They are missing. Who really cares, it is an awesome shot.
