Learned something new today
My work sent me out on a road trip to a town i've never been. And right across the street from my job site was a Bow shop.So i just had to pop in and see what they had.
It was a really nice shop, mounts all over the walls owner has taken over several years of bow hunting. Many whitetails,Elk,And some african game. I found out that the guy is a Certified Tech for Hoyt and Mattews. And has been in buissness since 1968.So i got to asking questions about the two bows and Companies. In his words,Hoyt has more to offer in Accessories and believes they are a better made bow.And in all his years of servicing,Mattews bows seem to have more go wrong with them as far as machanical problems and warranty work than does The Hoyts. I just bought a Hoyt Magna-Tec two years ago.And thats why i was interested in asking which bow he believed to be the better of the two. So if anyone is looking at the new bows theres a little info i learned today myself i thought i would share with the board. It's not how big the Deer,But the size of the experiance that matters!! |
RE: Learned something new today
As the owner of a MagnaTec myself, I suspected that the Hoyts were a better built bow....LOL!!!!

I just won't believe it. You can tell as many things as you want. I would still put my SQ2 up against anything.
But like fgdcd, I don't like the feel of the grip. ![]() My Web Page www.geocities.com/hfpmad |
