Maybe a stupid question, but just wondering what makes the blazersgood. What is the idea behind them, how do they make your arrow fly better? I purchased some today because I've heard and seen them alot lately. Im going to try them out for sure. I can just put them on with my fletcher and there are no trick or anything? Do I try to put alot of helicle on them or just slap them on and go? Thanks

ts...I'm pretty sure my are fletched straight. I'm sure it's some sort of magic on why they work so well...lol I can't explain it, but the proof is in my groups and arrow flight. They are the real deal. I'm sold.

Helical or straight work well, but I like helical. The "majic" is in the extreme upward angle of the vane, it prevents cavitation.

Just for an example of their worthiness, my bow, at the time, was shooting 285 fps. I shot a 425 gr. arrow tipped w/ a Magnus Stinger at 25 yards, fletched w/ 5" feathers. I then shot the same arrow, only w/ Blazers from same yardage, and shot one of the feathers off of the first arrow. Do Blazers work? You bet!! Do they work better? No, but just as good. They are more durable though.

"Magic", no, Blazers have a higher profile then many vanes on the market. Couple that with their stiffness and design, they drag more air than other lower profile, softer vanes. It's not magic, just engineering/mathematics/what not....

Personally I feel they are short to get any kind of helical out of them tho you could get some, I prefer to fletch them offset rather than straight to optimise air drag to spin the arrow quicker out of the bow for arrow stabilization.

No, helical on a short 2" vane like the Blazer doesn't add much drag at all. I may be the oddball, but I still like helical. Even though you don't get much, the added spin helps alot.

My jig is a right helical and i fletch blazers on all my arrows... They are so short though you only get a slight helical outta it, so as a result i put a pretty hefty amount of offset on it. Gives em that tack driver feel if ya know what i mean...
