Already replied to your AT thread, but here it is again.....

It's not a truck but I do get 30mpg, its 230hp, AWD, does awesome off road unless you need lots of clearance, and man is it fun to do 4 wheel drifts on gravel roads with it. Most of my hunting spots are 2-4 hours from my house so I do lots of road trips and I can fit LOTS of gear in this (enough for Jaws and I for a full week) and still get 30mpg on the highway. I am getting a class 2 hitch assembly installed and one of those steel hitch platforms for the back of it so we can throw extra gear and a dead deer or two on that.

Well, I just bought my first vehicle a few weeks ago. 1991 Dodge Dakota, manual transmission, 2 wheel drive, 4 cylender, cost me 900$.

hvyhitter why did you stop in the mud. Is that thing got a D-Max in it or is it gas. Judging by the size of the exhaust I would guess it to be a D-Max. Is your truck on body lift or suspension lift.

Gregh gotta love old chevy trucks. I had one similar to that but mine was a stepside bed 8 inches lift 35 inch mudkings. Had a mean 454 big block in it. I am in the prosess of building a new muddin truck 85 chevy 3/4 ton. Gonna put 12 inches lift 38.5 tires and a stroked 454 punchin out 496 cubic inches. I think it should be alotta fun to see what it will do.
