quickspin
i need to get some of my arrows refletched and i was wondering what the word is on the quickspins. do they really helpyour groups out that much?
|
RE: quickspin
blazers they do it all :D;)
|
RE: quickspin
are blazers just like quickspins?? ive never heard of them before
|
RE: quickspin
Not even close. Quick spins are pretty good, just not incredibly durable. The quick spin will do just that, spin the arrow, and quickly. More spin = a more stabilized arrow, but the downside is lost speed downrange. Not a bad choice, though.

RE: quickspin
what are blazers then and how much do they run??

RE: quickspin
do yall prefer the blazers or the quikspins with a drop-away?
|
RE: quickspin
I would't recommend quick spin. Not very durable at all. Plus like mobowhunter said slows the arrow WAY down on long distance shots.
|
RE: quickspin
blazers are much more durable and i like em better havent heard a bad thing about em
|
RE: quickspin
i just read up on the blazers and they seem like the way to go. has anyone else had good luck with them?
|
RE: quickspin
Forget the spins go with Blazers. Three blazers equal one quickspin in weight. They are great. My arrows fly like darts.
|
RE: quickspin
do the blazers work well with a drop away rest? if they do i am going to have to get some. thanks for all the help guys!
|
RE: quickspin
I shoot a Trophy Ridge Drop Zone w/ Blazers. Works to perfection! If you call bohning, they will actually send you some sample free of charge.
|
RE: quickspin
Best fletchings available...just watch your groups when practicing with broadheads...I've already clipped about 6.But a broadhead is about the only thing I've found that'll damage them. :D

RE: quickspin
blazers even hold up to the wb2 without to much damage if they get wavy just hit em with a blowdryer for 30 seconds and wala there good to go
|
RE: quickspin
I hunt and shoot competition. I only shoot Blazers for both. They really work plus you get excellent clearance from your arrow rest and shelf.

RE: quickspin
If my understanding is correct:
QuickSpins are just fine and durable enough to get you several seasons via your drop away rest. Since most actual hunting shots occur within 20-25 yards (I think the latest I read was 17-22 (?) yard average for all shots), you will NOT need to worry about the arrow losing speed. If you are using a Whisker Biscuit or plan to use one or if you plan to take routine shots out past 30-40 yards, get the Blazers, do not use QuickSpins. |
RE: quickspin
how much do the blazers weight compared to 3 4" feathers?
|
RE: quickspin
Blazers are the way to go...I won't go back.
|
RE: quickspin
Ill be the odd man out. I shoot quick spins and like them. I shoot them out of a Wb and yes they do get torn up. Other then that i like them but i haven been able to try the blazers i really wanna try some.
