RE: best broadhead?

There's nothing wrong with the two heads you've mentioned but there's a ton of others out there if someone wants to try something different. I've shot Thunderheads for 16yrs with no complaints at all. They have always beenaccurate and their performance on game has been excellent. However, having said all that i have some Slick Tricks on orderbecause i want to try a four blade head and see how they compare. If i like themi'll use them but if not then i still have plenty of Thunderheads on hand. No broadhead will ever completely replace my Thunderheads but it's nice to have options should one choose to experiment! :D

RE: best broadhead?

Last year I switched from Thunderheads (after shooting them for 18yrs) to Rocky Mountain Ironhead 125's. These are THE strongest head made ;)and they fly awesome. I always had subtle flight problems with Thunderheads that gave me grief nearly every year. That is no longer a concern with the Ironheads. They hit exactly with my field points, even with minor setup changes. And they are tough ... I smacked the rebar in a target last year and only the sharpened tip of the ferrule was broken off. The head is still intact.

Any of the heads mentioned will probably work for you ... pick one.

Good luck ... Crayfish
