Paul L Mohr she is going to be hunting with her bow and she already told me she doesnt like the idea of the hand held release. there are just so many to choose from though. how do you know whats best? she likes the idea of the glove fitting Winn FreeFlight c 10 but still not sure.

My wife also uses a Cobra Release, it's fully adjustable and I've got it all the way shortened up and it fits her great.. Not sure if its the Jr or not but it works either way...

How do you know what is best? You try them, that's how;). If you can find a place that has different releases that she can try that is the best way.

The companies I listed all make very good releases though, it would boil down to what felt good to her. But the short head will help with little hands and a short draw length.

Copper John also makes a release that is a hand held, but has a wrist strap. And the trigger is in the grip under your middle fingers.

I also like the carter lockjaw, quickie and the two shot. The fletcher Jim Dandy release would work well too. And I like the TRU ball short and sweet.

You can look at all of them at Lancaster Archery.

A litle bitty mongoose from Scott would be an excellent release and you can get it with different size straps.

My 12 year old daughter has taken over my Carter Fits Me Too.[:o]This release cost about $150.00 but is well worth the money, especially for those of us that have small hands.

I know she has some reservations about a hand held but for most, they are easier to shoot with and usually allow for much tighter groups.
