Here I was sitting in my ground blind hopeing for another great hunt. Here comes two yearling does whit a buck not far behind. I am thinking "great, nice buck following the does". Well, as he gets close i notice that he is a real scrapper. He looked like at one point he was a 4 or 6 point, but now all that was left was a portion of one side of his rack (about a three inch spike). He looked like he had been in a real war.

They played around for awhile, when all of the sudden here comes a rather large doe with a buck on her trail. well he was a spike buck with about 4 inch tines.

Well, don't ya know what happened. The two bucks squared off right in front of me. i have never been more amused than this. All they could do is butt heads. eventually they quit there foolishness and returned to business. The only problem was that there does had run off. They were left there alone. So off they trotted in different directions. As soon as they were out of sight, guess what happened? here come the three does, back to get a little something to eat. they ditched there men. Ha, Ha, needless to say the deer gods were good to me last night. What a great show!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sound like you had a great hunt. They don't always have to end with meat in the freezer. Congrats.
