Your hunting arrows for this year?
Since my 3D season is coming to an early end this year, I am starting to order and get my gear set up for hunting season and get the XT all tuned up.
I planned on shooting a GT pro hunter 75/95 shafts for hunting this year, but now they as well as XT's are on national backorder for 8 weeks or so........too long of a wait for me. I had a dozen of them in the shop and ended up selling them thinking I could just get more ordered [:@]. I would like a shaft that has retail price of $100 or less,I can get just about anything through the shop. I want an arrow w/ a finished weight between 375 and 400 grains, that will include 3 blazers, a wrap, and a 100 grain head. What else would you guys use or have you had good luck with that is around 9gpi?
I was thinking of going w/ Axis arrows..........I have an entire barrel of them at the shop so I am fortunate enough to be able to sort through them and pick the straightest shafts within certain weight tolerances. I am confident that if I sort carefully and trim from both ends I can get a dozen shafts that are acceptable despite their .005 straightness tolerances, however before I do this I am wondering if there is something else I should be looking at.Any other shafts I should be looking at? The CT Whitetails are the same .005 tolerance and same retail price........so I was thinking since I already have Axis in the shop I might as well go w/ those........anyone have anything good or bad to say about Axis 340's?

Gold Tip Pro Hunter 7595's.
I fletched em' up with pretty barred 4" rt. wing feathers and a decent helical. 390grs with a 100gr head.
(secured MONTHS ago )
Even the XT's are on a backorder? [:-]

I'll be shooting Easton A/C Superslims this year. 27.5" 340's w/wraps and 3.125" QuikSpins. So far I love them.
Oh yeah - I'll be shooting Lumenocks as well.

2117 Easton Gamegetters (got a few dozen extra after they stopped making them), 150 grain Magnus Stinger, or possibly a Muzzy Phanton. Three fletch 5 1/2 Parabolic feather. Bohning Classic Nock.
