Best bow

I am going to buy a new bow in feb. I was wondering what everyone's 0pinions are on what bow I should buy? What is better.. shorter bow's axle to axle or longer. What is the best overall, best for the money,I will be hunting primarily whitetail deer with it. Thanks for all the help! Any help or ideas would be appreciated!

I just updated my website. Go check it out. I have big bucks, paintings, my drawings and more. Sign the guestbook while there.

I really love my Mathews Legacy. I really don't think that there are any "bad" bows on the market these days. Good luck with your quest.

Whoever said there is no such thing as a stupid question has never worked in Law Enforcement.

Shoot a bunch, see what feels good to you! Parker UL 31, Mathews Legacy, or a Bowtech Patriot. 2003 Bowtech's should really be hot. Another 2003 Bowtech to checkout is the Extreme with vertical force technology.

Once again shoot a bunch and your decision should be easy!

PRACTICE....PRACTICE....PRACTICE......SUCCESS!

micdundee,

That is a difficult question to answer as bows are a very personal item. What fits you might not fit me.

As is usually suggested, I would recommend that you go to a few of the pro shops in your area to "sample the goods". Feel a few of the bows in the different axle to axle length categories as well as some with different cams, limb styles, etc.. See which one feels best for you.

If you then can narrow your search down to a specific set of characteristics that you find favorable in a bow then I think we all can give you some good suggestions.

The bow that is accurate. I read a post about getting to into the hype of the latest and greatest trend and agree it is about what the bow does and not what name it has!
