Thanks eveyone for the help sounds like most of you guys prefer a back pack or fanny. The only problem with a back pack would be if i was going to use my climber.

I've used both the fanny pack and the backpack in recent years and I can't seem to decide which I like better. I have a feeling I'm going to be using one of each this fall. The backpack is nice because I can carry some additional gear in it, but is a pain when I'm carrying in a stand to hang and sit that night. The fanny pack is nice because I can throw my Lone Wolf on my back with it on. I also liked having the adjustable straps on the top of the fanny pack to tether down a jacket or heavy shirt when walking into my stand.

I'm torn.

i have a back pack and a primos bow vest. i will have to say if im going out all day then i will take the pack with me but if im going out for the morning then comeing back in for lunch then going back out then i wil us the bow vest. it also depends on if im useing my climber. if i am then i will have the vest on.

I use a backpack! Carries all my stuff. I use a climbing treestand and attach the backpack to it while walking in and out. Works very well for me. Whatever you choose make sure it is waterproof!
