I have a probem
 

My name is Matt and I have a problem..........I am addicted to hunting,hunting forums and hunting TV shows.

I went through and counted about 35 hunting shows that I set in my DVR to record on hunting shows. I just went through and deleted a bunch of links to hunting forums that I spend too much time on. This one is my favorite though:). My girlfriend says that I treat my bow and guns better than I treat her,lol. I will admit thast is true.

I am trying to cut back on shows and froums but who else shares this problem?

in all seriousness - make sure you take enough time for your girl - if she's like a lot of them they give at least 70% to our 30% - but if you drop below 15% or so for too long - she'll be gone buddy.

Hello...my name is...er...forgive me as the season approaches I don't even remember who I am. Everything I do is affected by my addiction, my disorder, my disease, my habit!

Now I am hooked, addicted, unable to concetrate on my work. Even when the season is closed I find myself immersed in horn porn. I tell myself I am reading the magazines because of thearticles but really I am lusting after the pictures. But alas, they give me no satisfaction...

The anxiety is disabling. As elk season draws nearI find myselfusing blow to carry me through to September. Yes, I am blowing my calls, and feeling the tremors of the drug called anticipation...

It is a never ending problem...When Elk season ends I start chasing Whitetails. It is true I am not faithful to just one species. That is part of theissue you see. I know why my wife left me, I understand completely...

The truth is I am hopelessly strung out from season to season...October finds me huffing the heavenlyfragrance of a timber that ismorphing to a differentshade of colorby the day...Expect no production out of me in the month of November, don't even ask me to go to funeral in November; for you will find me as high as a kite all of November.

I am just the shell of the man I once was...If only I hadn't taken that first shot...If only I hadn't been so close that that buck and felt that rush...If only I had not felt the intoxication of that moment, I might be a wealthy man today...

Hello my name is Monte, I too am addicted to bow hunting. I have finally addmitted it to myself, family and friends.To help me through withdrawls I took up wildlife photography and found out that it is also an addiction that I just can not stop.

Hi my name is Mike and I volunteered to go to Walmart and grocery shop for my wife last nightjust because I knew the archery section was out now. I knew this meant the season was around the corner and I found it therapeutic. I came home with a bow hunting magazine and some field points. Lord help us all and help bow season get here quickly!

I have a problem with the people that THINK that I have a problem. I'm just taking advantage of my rights as an American, the whole pursuit of happiness deal. (OK, maybe that wasn't in the Bill of Rights, but it otta be!) I thoroughly enjoy my percieved problem,addiction, severe disorder, call it what you may but it will never change. It's not my fault that my boss thinks I'm crazy when I ask for a lay-off in late October. Or my wife thinking I'm over the edge of norm when I ask her to use some aromatic autumn cover scentas potpourri and to put on a little doe-in-heat to really get me in the mood if you know what I mean. Definitely no problem here, my mom just says I'm special

Well, its time for me to make the first step.... Hi, my name is Jason and I am an addict... this season has got to me worse than before.... the withdrawl is taking over my body and caused me to make some big changes in my life, like calling off my 6 year relationship with my girlfriend (well ex-girlfriend now) because she took up too much of my hunting time (more like she complained too much about me spending my time hunting and spending money on new hunting toys).... if any of you guys have a cure for this disease, please, for the love of god, KEEP IT AWAY FROM ME!!!!! :D

I'm so addicted to hunting that when i'm in a bad mood, all i do is think of waking up early and getting in the stand and it puts me in a good mood.
