All:

I believe the main reason to make sure that we do not lose "NET" hunter numbers is for the voting power against gun control activist.

I believe there are many more gun hunters than bow hunters.

Some times we lose sight of this on the bowhunting forums.

If we think that bowhunting is immune to the gun control fanatics power, I'd say..think again.

Canned hunting is the real bastardization. I have been around the hunting block for quite some time and I have always noticed hunters to be ignorant, and set in their ways.

People are afraid of change... bottom line. Canned Hunting is a joke, WHA is innovative. Get with it people

JMonsterZUMBOO do not misunderstand me - WHA is a joke, and as every much the bastardization of Hunting that Canned Hunting and Preserve Hunting is.

WHA will never take hold, it will die an ugly death. It will be another sucker punch to hunting, another black eye ........ but its destined to die.

Canned Hunting and Preserve hunting is becoming the normal way for people to hunt.

Thing is ......... its not hunting, nor more than placing pro-hunters in a pen with deer and dart guns and letting them rack up points.

Ya'll be consistant ........ either hate everything anti-hunting or don't hate any of 'em

JMonsterZUMBOif I was planted wouldn't I be saying how great WHA is as a tool to bring people to hunting ?

I am not saying that at all.

What I am saying is that its anti-hutning, no different than canned hunting in the way that it negates my beloved sport, only its but a minor, minor threat. Canned hunting is destroying what hunting is - quickly.

The bottom line in hunting has become money. In Ohio every year it gets worse. The more money you have the better your hunting options are. When you have 6 Amish guys go and lease 200 acres for $10,000 a year things are starting to head in the wrong direction. Leases, the same people buying up all the land, and people selling the trophy deer they harvest are pushing this sport in the wrong direction. I love nothing more than to bowhunt, but I fear the day is coming when I will not be able to afford the hobby I hold most dear. At least that's my opinion on the subject.
