A Deers view?

I don't know if this is a lame question or not? I have heard many different opinions or "facts" of what deer see. is it Black and white? Sepia? I've also heard they can see UV in clothing? and even blue colors as well. anyway how do we know exactly what they see? is there any proof, or are we just assuming or guessing???

It's not a dumb question but it is a redundant one. I believe there still is a current thread on it a few pages back but here's some good reading.

Thank you! ( and if you look long enough on this sight every question would be redundant.)

Cool! I gotta check this out... especially since I thought that hunting in a pair of blue jeans, a green jacket, and a bit of blaze orange was sufficients enough.
