Camcorders

I was wondering if all you guys that film your hunts could say what kind of camcorder you use and how it works for you. I am in the market for a new one so I'm just doing a little research on them, if you could please post price and all those things it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

I have a Small Sony Mini DV.. Its great cuz its Small, i can put it in my pocket.. But i would like something with a better optical zoom... Mine only has 10X.. I would get something with at least 20 Optical if I were you.. The digital zoom is worthless, so don't bother even looking at that when your purchasing a camera.

I paid 800 for mine, but they sure have come down in price..

I just bought a Cannon ZR200 mini DV with a 20X zoom and I love it. It was around $350 plus the pic card and video cassette. I need to have someone show me how to upload pics, then I'll be set.:D

Which model number? They have some out now that record on DVD's, and some record on a hard drive in the camera, so you can download it straight to the computer to edit and put on a DVD. It is hard for me to justify going from my VHS-C to another that records on a small tape the same way, but I might if only for battery life per charge. I can only get maybe 15 minutes out of my battery, so it is almost worthless.
