RE: Agree or Disagree with the WHA

Washington... thanks for the suggestion.. In fact I have read all the treads, as I am up to date on these issues..

What about the Rodeo? What about lassoing a cow and bringing it down.. animal rights there?

I think alot of you have it twisted and DONT really understand the issue... anyways.. I am all for a jump start in the hunting industry... I dont care what any of you guys say.. and no please dont accuse me of being a sponsor to the WHA.. since I know this is next...

The Pro Bass Circuit is the best of the best. Just the same as the NBA, MLB, NASCAR, PGA, NFL... I doubt, I really doubt( I may be wrong), but the WHA will not include the best of the best deer hunters.

The past few weeks there have been several 'new' members come in and post for the first time only on WHA issues. There is you, that wannabe cheerleader chick, newtowha, and others. That has NEVER happened on another subject. I just get the feeling that there are some spooks among us, hopefully I am mistaken.---EDIT--APPARENTLY THIS IS NOT YOU---posted at same time.

For all the buzz this thing gets, nobody has successfully answered the questions that HAZCON7 has asked.

The "I thought this was America!" bit gets alittle old. We all know where we are.

WILL the WHA jump-start... and give life back to the hunting industry (manufactuers, apparel, weoponry, entertainment value)???

Sounds like some personnal attacks over a simple question. In regards to Mathews question, I don't truely believe that the industry needs a boost, they seem to be doing fine as it is.I do however believe that this is a scheme aimed at making money, no matter how perverted it is.As a bowhunter, I amtotally against this whole WHA crap. Hunting for me is the total experience, not just the taking down of an animal.I like the previous posts' comparision to "selling your soul to the devil"!

What about the rodeo? Those cows aren't being shot with tranquelizers that could kill them. The people riding the bulls are in just as much danger of being hurt as the bulls they ride are.

Why do you feel so strongly that the hunting indrustry needs a boost? I'm fairly certain that it's doing just fine right now.

Totally disagree. Period.

Another plant? Joined strictly for WHA threads?

RE: Agree or Disagree with the WHA

I wondered how long it would take the plants to get the WHA back on the topic board after the last one got locked from WHA supporters telling us to get laid..... This is no better.... If there's anything more disgusting than the WHA itself it's the WHA supporters who constantly throw the same (IMHO) vulgar excuses for supporting points in our faces....

The WHA will never find more than a sad few supporters on this forum. GET OVER IT, FARBMAN! before I start tracing IP addys and find out just how many multiple accounts have opened by the hand full of flunkies peddling Farbman's foul smelling fodder on our boards.

ANd I started to write something really mean...

RE: Agree or Disagree with the WHA

Eveyone who has seen my other posts knows I freely admit to being a newcomer to this world of hunting. I'll also admit, a few months ago I would have thought the WHA was a good idea- I mean, hunting without killing- Great! But even my dumb a__ has learned that hunting isn't about the kill, its about the admiration of the animal.
So the point being, don't get so upset over the WHA supporters- They don't mean to be offensive, they're just ignorant. Stay calm and explain, this will get your point across a lot more efficiently than yelling and screaming.

And for the poll, WHA will probably increase sales of equipment in the short term, but as the hobby hunters fade away, the boycott of WHA sponsors by the true hunters will result in lost revenue.

if the WHA starts doing this for deer, what happens when they do it for any type of bird or any other game for that matter? terrible idea.

RE: Agree or Disagree with the WHA

I'm not attacking anyone... just stating my opinion of WHA plants.... If you're offended by my statements about WHA Plants, that says alot about your intentions here.

On second thought, I inadvertantly insinuated MathewsLX as a plant with the comment about plants starting new threads.... Didn't mean to get accusatory, just making my stance known.... Wasn't yelling either.

Drew, youre right on target with the sales statement.
