alright guys whats your best guess on what my fps is with this setup.05' Browning F5 tornado ibo of 300. 55lbs 27.5 draw length. Goldtip 5575 cut at 31 with 90 grains and feathers. string loop and peep.I was just wondering what ball park im in, I have never actually chronod it so some educated guesses would be great

I'd guess even slower than that with your shorter draw and lower poundage. Surely there is a Pro Shop close enough to you that you could shoot a few through their chronograph and find out??? Remember though, a slow hit beats a fast miss anyday.

Figure it up. You need the exact weight and speed of your arrow to get an accurate number, but here's the formula:

speed x speed x weight/ 450,240

No idea about your FPS, but I do have a question for you.

If your draw length is 27.5" why are you shooting a 31" arrow?

Why not cut them down to 28" or 27"? You'll pick up a couple FPS and won't have a lot of extra arrow sticking out in front of your rest.

i will eventually i also need to get them re fletched and my shop just closed so i dunno
