Trophy Rock

Has anyone used the trophy rock mineral block?... Are any of your blocks out there getting hit yet?? If so, what types of blocks are you using?..

The rock works OK, but I make my own mix. I get twice as much for about the same money.

2 parts trace mineral
1 part crushed rock salt
1 part dicalcium phosphate

You'll get MANY more animals to utilize a loose mineral than any block or rock type product. Try this one and you'll be impressed. Also, consider you can make 200# of this product for the cost of only 2 Trophy Rocks???

Myself I have had great sucess in using Lucky Buck. The deer love it and it is showing in the head gear that they are growing.

Guys (THANK YOU MOBOWHUNTER):

listen to what Mobow says. It's even less than 1/2 the price. I took this recipe to Tractor Supply......and walked out with 200lbs of minerals for <$27.00!

I've used this to make 6 sites.......with more left over. What a bargain.....and what an attractant. I didn't even put trail cams at my feeder. I put them on the mineral lick.....on advice and a hunch. WOW. I've had as many as seven on it in one photo.

I dug a hole about 3x3x9"......and mixed up the minerals with the soil.

Bingo.

Thanks, again......for the advice, guys. I've had them on the minerals for about 6 weeks, now.

Jeff

RE: Trophy Rock

WHY NOT keep it mixed? Will it harden? Also, do you need to pour some water on it when u get it mixed up with the dirt?
Thanks in advance
