When I figure out my KE do I use my arrow weight in grains or grams?

Just in case you need it,

1 gram = 15.4323583529414 grains

Do you square the weight? I thought it was the velocity.

My mistake. You are correct, speed x speed x weight / 450240. I should have proof read that first...duh.....
