I have read a few posts that deal with people that are upset with others or who post ethical commentary to attract responses. The majority of people’s comments lean toward the high road. Most would advise doing what is right and maintaining limited confrontation and positive attitudes. That indicates the caliber of people that frequent this site. Awesome…..

ive been here WAY too long. YEARS. this is the ONLY site i come back to DAILY...many times a day actually. most sites have to much fuss. bickering, complaining, bashing etc etc and it gets OLD...FAST. this site though, as you noticed is pretty good and pretty well moderated. youll quickly pick up who has been around and who you can trust and believe and who is a BSer. we get our fair share of trolls and people trying to stir up trouble, but they are quickly gone. welcome aboard BTW!

And this is one of the best spots on the forum as a whole. I come visit the bowhunting site to chill out and get away from the fussing .;)
Nice little get away plus a great place to get tips from the pros.I'm only in my 2nd bowhunting season.

We all kind of like each other here. Some are easier to deal with than others but we try and show respect and that makes it work.

How do you guys compare this site to Archery Talk? Honestly. Ive been posting over there for years, but frankly Im tired of the attitudes from bitter sulking saps everyday...

I was told this site was better for debates because people dont just attack until you log out

Nah the regulars here are top notch. Like every board we have the folks who drop in and stir up the sh*t every once in a while. But they get bored or just mysteriously disappear and we move on.

I post on a number of sites. My favorite was Bushnell Outdoors, but it's gone now. This one seems to be a nice cozy campfire.

Ralph and Vickie are great folks. They endorsed mybook (proving anyone can write a book) and wrote some very nice things.

Nix, I used to post on AT more frequently, but sincerely got tired of the back-biting, sniping, and blatant attacks over there.

While erstwhile debates are enjoyed here, the key word is enjoyed. I'd say 99% of the time, they never become the bru ha ha you'll see over there. Just about everyone handles themselves with class and dignity here; it makes for a very nice experience. Like someone said, if someone comes along who doesn't believe in doing business that way, we're pretty quick to run him off. We may lose one member that day, but I'd be willing to wager we keep hundreds because of it.

Stick around, and see what I mean.
