Hey Rob,

It's probably not as difficult as other states, every two years you'll get a tag, more than likely. YOu can always buy a landowner tag, but it can get pricey.

I probably made more of a deal than it actually is. In my eyes, it just covered my new Tribute...lol

you have to hunt in the same county or adjoining that the land of the landowner who got the tag is in - that makes it more interesting to say the least because the tag you can buy easily enough, finding a place to hunt makes it harder.

I still can't find out if my buddies drew :(

couldn't stand it and called ......... 2 tags for my landowner friends. I'll use one and hopefully my Dad the other :D

We have public land here that you would be pressed to see another bowhunter if you hunted it a week. Some big bucks roaming on that land also.

I just called the Pratt office too. Both my buddies drew, they said they were hoping to get all the info on the web either today or tomorrow.

I live and hunt in south east kansas. Lot of public land and alot of farmers I know and they let me hunt. Some big deer there including some booners. I hit one booner in the truck going bow hunting, he was over 180 as a 10 point. A friend has some sheds mounted that are 195 ish with the spread that he has, he was a 10 point to. They are around but you got to work for them.

Wow! Just checked my status and I drew a non res bow permit as well. I'm pumped to say the least. Never tried before and got drawn, That's cool! I'm going to try and go around Thanksgiving, can't wait!
