Monster Buck Question........
 

Yesterday afternoon..4pm, my son and I were in the middle of getting dressed to go out to our groung blind when I looked down the soya bean field and saw 2 deer.I was dissappointed because they beat us out there, but then a doe comes galloping down the fence line where we are.Then the magic started....A huge 12 pt. is right on her A$$...I told my son to hit the deck and I'm scramblling to get my release on.The doe and buck turned 90 degrees, 50 yards from us and ran across the field.WOW!!!!!!!! My question is....How long will he be around. There is about 8 does in the area.I can't hunt next week because its gun season, so I have to wait 7 more days.If the rut is just starting, and if he's the dominant buck in the area, Do you think that he will be around for a couple more weeks?? WE also saw a 8pt. with 1 antler broke off about 45yards out....Damn , a little to far out for me....Thanx , Steve and Brandon.

SC40- Yesterday my daughter killed a nice 6 point. The tarsel glands were just starting to excrete glandular. i think that the rut is just starting for the bucks here in michigan. your chances of seeing that giant are still good. Especially if tthere are so many does in the area.
