New Info On My Setup

Hey guys I went to the shop today and got a few things worked out on my bow. All my specs are now in my signature. I thought it was pretty good for what I'm shooting. Let me know what you think.

By the way, what the heck is wrong with this forum? I keep getting java errors and all kinda garbly goop on the screen when I try to post. Will someone let me know if I might need to reset something on my computer.

Thanks, LT

All I can do w/ that statement is laugh. Hard. That's been a pretty .......well....much discussed topic here this evening! Everyone is having troubles. I was logged in as a mod earlier.....

Anyway, your numbers are pretty respectable given your short DL and light DW. Respectable, indeed. You've certainly got enough KE to get the job done! You just gotta do your part. That's not always so easy. Trust me, and the tree I hit last year....[&:]

Kinda figured it was forum wide trouble. I've been getting those java errors for months now though. Was not gettin them when I first joined the forum. Anyway, I think I will be able to do my part when the time comes, even if my part is killing a poor innocent tree.:D:D

Looks like a good solid rig that serve you well in the deer woods this fall. Good luck to ya.

I REALLY love my TR Drop Zone rests, how is yours shooting? It seems that everyone I know that tries one.... buys one! Good luck and good shootin'

Yeah, IL the TR Dropzone is the way to go as far as I am concerned. I just don't think there is an easier rest to tune. Only problem is noise. I need to get the upgrade o-ring kit from TR. I can't seem to find their e-mail address though. If someone has it, please post. Can't wait to get to OCT. 1. This is gonna be a wild season.

Thanks, LT

What is the total weight of your arrows? Doesn't appear you would have anywhere near 60 foot pounds of KE. Something isn't right.

You are right David, I made a terrible mistake on my arrow shaft gr per inch. It was 9.3 and I was figuring 13 per inch. The h nock is also only 9 gr and I had figured on 13 gr. I am re-doing my sig now because the total kinetic energy is 48.35 ft lbs. Still enough to get pass thus on a whitetail though. I may jack up the draw weight to 65 today and see how hard it is to hold.
