Blazers or 4" feathers?
WHich of these will be better for broadhead flight?
If i'm not mistaken, I think they weigh the same.. But will the Feathers have more drag, causing better flight? Or will the blazers do a better job? |
RE: Blazers or 4" feathers?
ive noticed that feathers make more noise through the air then blazers and blazers help stablize the arrows the same

RE: Blazers or 4" feathers?
Mathewboy, I loved the blazer vanes when i shot field tips but then i put on 4 different broadheads and had 4 different impact spots. Then i put the broadheads back on my 4 inch vanes and wham back to hitting the same spot as my field tips. Walt

RE: Blazers or 4" feathers?
I have both on my arrows andI like both. Feathers really slow your arrow down after 40 yds and yes they are noisey. I don't feel that noise is an issue from them at a typical treestand shot of 10-15 yds though. Now for antelope, elk, and mule deer where a long shot may be typical, the blaser is the ticket.
