Durable vanes

I'm wondering what the most durable vane is . I shoot at ground targets and that beats the hell out of the vanes (hit or mis). I'm refletching WAY to often . Thanks for the advise . It seems that putting wraps on your arrows helps adhere the vanes ,, what do you think ?

RE: Durable vanes

Duravane "Savage" , Flex Fletch anything, and Vanetec are head and shoulders above the rest for durability. Flex Fletch and Vanetec are a little bit critical to get good adhesion but the Duravane Savage are pretty straight forward.
All 3 are pretty much bulletproof.

Blazers and Duravane "Predators" are tough inthe new short length high profile "broadhead" vanes.

RE: Durable vanes

Cleaning the shaft with a cleaner helps a bunch. I use lacquer thinner. Putting a dab of glue on the tip of the vane after it's applied helps too. They make tips to help ruduce the arrows penitration, just a thought. I don't use them anymore or shoot at ground targets oftenanymore either. Just a pain. Now if I had a long bow with a whole pile of shafts that were cheap and the bow a lot slower then we'd be talking.:D
