My boys 1st bowkill
This is my boy at a age 11 with his 1st bowkilled deer . He shot it at 20 yds with a Browning Micro Eclipse @40#'s with a 4 blade muzzy. He shot it right through the heart and a blind person could have tracked it. Two weeks later he shot another doe out of the same stand. I was sitting in the same tree with him but in a different stand and witnessed the shots. He got complete pass throughs on both deer.I tried to post this months back on a different thread but the pic didn't show very good. After he shot this one he said,"That will make your heart pump!" He kept his composure through it all though. He is Hardcore.

Git r' dun !
A pass through with a 40# bow ? Just goes to show that it's placement , not poundage , that drops the deer . Congrats to the young man for some fine shooting . :) |
