Labor charges at your pro shop??

The shop near me charges $60.00 per hour for labor with a $20.00 minimum. Just wondering if this is a fair price?

Personally I think that's a little greedy depending on the work that needs done. I might be able to see that for a bow that was purchased somewhere else and brought in but that's still high, kudo's if they are getting it but I'd never frequent them, and instore purchases should not be subject to such high demands on the proshops part.

The typical charge I have seen at the shops here in VA is $45 per hour. Usually they will prorate the small work.

Holy Bejesus...

I just saved myself 100 bucks last night by doing all the work myself..

Took apart the whole bow and cleaned, relubed, waxed.. ETC everything...

Why would you want to pay someone 60 bucks and HOUR to do something you enjoy doing?

NOT ME............

I think i should go into business if people are paying those prices..

Christ thats more than an electrician makes...Or heavy equipment operator..

They are considered a "skilled professional", have you checked the labor rates of any other service recently? I don't even want to get into what I pay for a lawyer! he he he... $36.00 to print a friggen document!

I understand the point of a guy who has a fixed income, but these pro-shops need to profit to survice. That's why so many don't! Just my 2 cents....
