And the winner is....

WellI have been shooting my bows almost non stop since I bought my new Tribute friday. I would have to say that the Hoyt Trykon is a slightly better bow than my Bowtech tribute. The cam rollover is slightly smoother in the Tribute but not a big noticeable difference. Hand vibration and shock is slightly less on the Trykon. Both are very quiet. Looks, feel, grip, and cosmetics the Hoyt wins hands down. Both are top notch bows and I still feel they are the best the industry has to offer; both outshining the Mathews line. Disclaimer; these are just my opinions.

Your opinions are that of mine except I prefered the Allegiance over the Tribute and the Trykon being right there as well.

Nice opinion, keep shooting that tuning fork. When they make a better bow than the Switchback, I'll own it. I'll keep you posted as to when that happens.

Exactly gibblet, exactly and that's all that matters. I've said it before and I'll say it again, "The best bow made is in the hand of the guy you are talking to."

Exactly....what one guy likes and the other doesn't likeis called opinion. If we all liked the same thing it would be a boring world.

I'd have to agree with the "tuning fork" analogy above -- from my experience with the Tryk I shot. I'dflat-out honestly have to disagree with the thinking that a Trykon could have less hand shock than a Tribute; Ithink I was still hearing the ringingtwo seconds after the arrow hit the target! ;)I've shot'em both, and they weren't even close in vibration or hand shock.

But, that's what makes the world go 'round. That's why I put it in italics: That was just my experience, just like this was hardcore's experience.

Glad you found two bows you're happy with though!

I'll find out this fall, but so far I love my new Patriot. I actually chose it over those mentioned above tho the Allegiance was high on my list. As said time and again......everybody has their own preferences. I am just glad we have so many choices.

I think it has a lot to do with how they are set up. It would be interesting to take 5 of the same bows from 5 different retailers and shoot them. I'm convinced that there would be some that would get a bad review while others would be the greatest thing since cheese in a can. I've seen some new bows that the strings had only a few twists in and am sure that their ata couldn't be right for a start. Just picking them up and feeling them is not a good idea IMO. I'm sure I could change the way both those bows feel and possibly improve them without adding a thing except maybe strings.

So, in the entire world these 2 are the best. I think you need to get out of this site a little more often.:DAnd get a whole lot richer.:D

I own a Mathews, Never shot a trykon, have shot the bowtech...regardless though in my opinion there isn't a better looking bow than the bowthech, tribute or allegiance, JMO I live the riser, the dual cams, the finish...it's just a bad-a$$ looking bow to me

I wouldLOVE to own either one of these 2 bows (Trykon or Tribute). Cant go wrong with either of them. Quality is top notch on both models. Bottom line for me is I could harvest animals with great confidence looking down an arrow with either one of these in my hands. Thnx for the cpmarison and views HCH.
