I've never had luck with google maps.....but these are much better than Terraservers.

i hunt stricly military bases and access to those maps is restricted as you can imagine.

I must be stupid because I couldn't figure it out at all , how do you access those cool sat images ? Do you need to sign up or something ?

Just type your address under the Get Map and Directions. Once done just click on the satellite option.

I tried that , nothing came up . It must require a connection faster than dial up , and I can't download Flash 8 at work where there's a DSL . [:@]

Well, I can get it fine, but how in the heck are you downloading it? It has a very good image for the areas I hunt, but I can't download it or link it into a post. What do I need to do to get there? I would really like to have these images on my computer to work with.

Great looking maps. I can't seem to zoom in close enough on some of the property I hunt on though.

Okay, I got it now, Washington Hunter helped me out on dumping it over into paint, I can deal with it and modify as needed from there. Kudos to him for helping a guy out.

Satellite imagesfrom google and yahoo are exactly the same picture in my area.
