Anderson tree sling

Years ago i used to hunt out of
a harness type hunting sling called
an Anderson tree sling. It was a harness
that you sat in and attached around the
tree like a saftey belt. I lost it a few
years ago and was wondering if anybody
knows of a company that makes something
similar. I cant find anything on this.

RE: Anderson tree sling

i know what you are talking about, i have one its at least 18 years old. I use it all the time, and it still looks new.except the blood stains from dragging deer out. i put a 1x8 about as wide as my butt in it so i can stay in it a lot longer.use to cut off cirulation.
they don't make them any more. i think too many people fell out of them. there was something simalar too it a few yeas ago but i can't find that any more either.I thought it was a great idea, just wrap around your waist and off you go.light and simple. good luck, let me know if you find anything like it,,jeff

I've seen something similar to what you are describing called the "Tree Suit", here's a link to their website I found:

http://www.treesuit.com/

Thing doesn't look very comfortable to me but it sounds like what you are looking for.

Let us know if this treesuit is like the one you used to have. I was thinking about getting one but it looks kinda hokey. If it is legitimate, works well (meaning you can actually shoot out of it), and is comfortable I might just have to get me one.

I have the treesuit and I like during earlier season during warmer weather, but not after it gets cold. You can't add clothing. You have to use some sort of climbing system, screw-in steps, climbing sticks etc... I get up to twenty feet up in it and am very comfortable and feel safe in it.
