Welcome O!The season starts Oct. 1st. You can go to the Ill dnr site for all seasons and regs.

Thanks SuperRedHawk for the responce, sorry i posted a stupid post i read on and saw that the post under mine could answer my question. Im happy to find this site it has a lot of cool information and pictures. Another question is im going to buy my first bow and have about 300-400$ to spend and wanted to know whats a good beginer bow that'ell kill a deer. Thanks a lot for all the help guys!

Welcome to the forums owen your gonna like here.
As far as that bow your looking for, you might to check out the classiffed forums in there you'll find that other hunters are selling some bow that are all set up & ready to shoot for a real good price.
check out one ad that reads PSE/FIRESTORM from roger he is selling his for about $250.00 or something like that.
