PSE Novas... STAND UP!

How many guys hereuse "entry level" bows? Myself, personally, I have better things to spend my hard earned dollars on than flash and whizbang.... I think I'm going to try to buy my dad's 10 yr old PSE Nova from him when I see him next weekend. It's served him well, no reason it won't be a dandy for me!

That bow should serve you just fine, it will kill just as efficiently now as it did when it was new. I just like a newer bow, JMO, i'm sure you'll hear the same from many others here...

My last bow was an "entry level" bow, but then I bought the one I have now. Then (and even now)I couldn't believe I was spending more money on my bow than I've ever spent on a rifle. However, I would still buy an entry level bow if it fit my criteria. It may be a little hard to take a step back in speed and smoothness though. [&:]

I used "entry" level bows for a long time. Bought a mid range one a few years ago, but I know I could kill just as many deer with my old nova.

a nova was my first bow. it is in my garage along with my second bow, a fred bear epic extreme. the epic was replaced last weekend with a fred bear instinct.

A pal "O" mine has an old one. I believe it is a steel string. He had a pass through on a buck last year, big one too. I shoot a typhoon, I think it is fairly entry level. EJ

I still shoot my Stingray, just to keep sharp with it. I know it can be just as effective as my new bow in close.:D

I also shoot a PSE Nova, it was the first bow I bought 5 years ago, before that I was using an older bow, cant remember the name,a something- Mountain Bow that was given to me by my father inlaw whenI started bow hunting back in 1996. What a beast it was. So I bought a PSE Nova and love it. Accurate, light, fast enough for me and puts em down.
