6 pointer today
I shot a 6 pointer this morning after I shot it I wondered if I should have let it walk . I have been waiting for this big 10 pointer
I am not much of a deer eater so I usually just give the deer meat away.
I am not much into shooting does either but in my area this year I have only seen 2 of them.
I know everyone says you shoot them to equal out the population ,
but how do I know that there are that my does here if everytime I hunt I see more bucks then does.
Help?

Hey hey! Congrats on your buck.
I must say, I wish we had your problem over here in western MA. The buck/doe ratio is a little wacked...so I always see many more does than bucks. I ejoy eating venison so taking a doe is never a problem. Do what you're comfortable with.
